Copper Electrification

End Use Copper Product Demand from Electrification Trends

This project focused on providing a detailed analysis of present and future copper demand due to electrification trends in North America, segmented by sector and copper product type.

This was a long-term study for the period of 2020–2040 and presented data for three main sectors of copper demand – including transmission and distribution, transportation (EVs and batteries) and renewables (solar power, offshore and onshore wind). The key findings and main results were later presented in the client´s executive members meeting.
